More than 66% of the country’s population lives below the poverty line. The average income is approximately €30 per month. As a result, more than 24% of children under the age of five suffer from malnutrition, and child mortality is high.

Donation funds are used to strengthen educational opportunities for children in vulnerable situations in southern Gambia.
